I have redesigned a specific set of 5 cutters to form up to an 8 inch diameter (20.32 cm) holiday favorite, the Poinsettia. Very sharp and double-seamed at the top to protect fingers, these lifelike set of 3 Poinsettia bract cutters will form a moderately large flower in any art form. Process for creating a stunning gum paste sugar Poinsettia is included in Scott Clark Woolley”s DVD#7, “Holiday Flowers in Sugar.” Poinsettias in planter cake were created with the 3 smallest cutters in the set. Largest cutter in the set is used for back rows of colored bracts (leaves) as well and final rows that are green. The actual flowers of this plant are the tiny, yellow, stamen-like parts on top of the berry-like center. The colorful red, pink or white parts we enjoy are the plant’s leaves called bracts.
Largest cutter in set is 3 7/8 inch (9.85 cm) long.
