A Promise of Spring

A Promise of Spring

Before finishing the final editing of my upcoming DVD #8 set on gum paste, “Spring Flowers in Sugar”, planned release by Spring 2018, I have decided to share the opening theme song. It is just too cute to keep it hidden until then, if i do say so myself.

This opening sequence took three years in the making, composing the lyrics and music and then recording the vocal track in 2014. The following two years, Bill Dietrich and I have been working on the animations. His genius has brought life creating the many-layered, Photoshop files, which I then take and animate. Hope you enjoy our labor of love, this music video entitled, “A Promise of Spring”

Upcoming DVD #8 set will be my most extensive to date. Sugar art lessons will include: Snowdrops, Hyacinth, Tulips. Crocus, Daphne, Dogwood, Peony, Lily of the Valley, Ranunculus, Daffodil, Jonquil, Camellia, Magnolia, Pussy Willow, Forsythia, and a Nuthatch bird. Whew! Look for it in early 2018!

A little sharper and bigger version can also be seen on YouTube: “A Promise of Spring” by Scott Clark Woolley of the magical World of Sugar Art
